I am so excited to share with you the encounter that I had today. Achieving the goal of multitasking; I'm at Walmart picking up a few things; while waiting in line, I'm on the phone with my husband. I get to the cashier and end my conversation with my husband (I didn't want to be rude and stay on the phone) . I acknowledge the cashier and asked her how she was doing. Her response was, "nervous." Compelled to find out why, I asked her. Waiting for the response of, "It's my first day, or this is my first time or register." She gives me an answer that I did not expect. She says; "I'm nervous because I am meeting my daughter that I gave up for adoption for the first time this weekend." Stunned by her response, I can't say I knew exactly how to respond. But, I remembered the first part of this post and wanted to cease the opportunity to encourage her. As I was talking to her (showing the excitement in my heart for her) I encourag...
