A New Year

This year is off to a great start and I am looking forward to whats to come.  But, what I am most excited about, is what ushered me into this year.  Just two weeks ago, the Lord helped me to reconcile the root of rejection that was sown in my life when I was a young child.  The rejection from my father offset so many things in my life and I pushed that part of my life in the back of my mind, but, what I am learning more and more about God, is that, even when you have forgotten he has not.  Even though you may not be asking or believing for him to heal or deliver you, he is still very much dedicated and excited about completing the work he has began in you.  So as 2013 came to a close, and while most people make the resolution to not take anything from the past year with them into the new year, I am going against the current and taking the freedom that I received at the end of this past year with me and pressing forward into 2014.

Have you ever focused on the last event that took place in your life and wonder was it the opening act for the new year?  I can't help but think, that everything happens for a reason. I am going into this new year, a new woman with elevated faith.

  1. Amen! Tynisha, in 2013 you directly impacted 3 lives with a ripple effect, thru me. I lived out your call to tell 3 women that I didn't know that they were good moms - I specifically told them I could tell by the way she listened to their child, by the way she said no in line at the grocery, the way she tucked the blanket around her daughter on the bus. I never would have spoken up and told them, but because of your words, I did. And after they thanked me, I thanked God for you.

  2. Cheri, this is awesome! It's so neat to see how the Lord uses us for his glory. I am prone to making sure to recognize others and encourage them. Continue to let the Lord use you, even when no one is looking.
    Be Blessed.
